Phonics camp!

Phonics Camp was created to expose children to early foundational reading skills. The entire business was inspired by my son Jayden, who began reading by age 2. My family and I exposed him to his letters and sounds when he turned one. He has always been interested in learning and we took his interest and amplified it! Now he is bilingual and fluent in Spanish.

I thought what if I could help more kids become prepared for school? What if I could help students go to school and be confident because they know their stuff?!! Then God gave me the vision of Phonics camp!  During phonics camp, I introduce students to letters and sounds. By doing so, I follow a research-based curriculum supported by the science of reading.  We do a lot of kinesthetic and auditory learning and everything in camp is extremely intentional.  My goal is for every child who comes to camp to go to school confident and ready to read.  Check out some of our photos down below.

During phonics camp, I meet students where they are and help them grow. We have a stress free learning environment and students are encouraged to do their best in every task that is given.

This year- I decided to implement an enrichment group. This group consists of rising first graders! I can't wait to see how far they've come and by the time they leave camp, I have no doubt that they will be reading fluently. :)

Do you think your child would benefit from a REAL head-start for school? Can you imagine how good they would feel about themselves when they are exceeding their teachers expectations?! What if your child went to school already on grade level for passing their state benchmarks?! If you think these things would be great for your family,  I encourage you to register your child  for phonics camp! We don't just create readers, we create leaders!

Learning about our letters!

Vocabulary Time!

Exposure to vocabulary helps with oral language as well as reading comprehension!

Handwriting!  This little blessing loves to learn! She showed me that she was ready to write and she did an amazing job with using fine motor skills...

We read the book "I Am Unique" written by  local author Calvenia Moore!
